ATTENDANCE CALLS
If your child will not be in school, please call the front desk (586-3284) or send an email by 9:45 AM to inform us. When you call before 8 AM, you may leave a message on the answering service. As of the first of January, if you haven’t called to report your child absent, we have been calling parents to make sure students are safe. It really helps us to have you let us know. Thank you!        

DO YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE?
Hi, I know it’s not quite time for spring cleaning yet, but I’m interested in getting a few things for the resource room. I’d like a couple of games, specifically: “Guess Who, Connect Four, Jenga, Checkers, or Battleship.” If you have an old game around and would like to donate it to Schoolcraft, I can put it to good use.  I’m also interested in a few back issues of sports magazines, especially if they have stories about Minnesota professional sports teams, anything on the Vikings would be great! If you have any of these to donate, please send to school with your children.

LUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT
Please continue to let us know as early as possible if you are planning to eat lunch with us. This is especially true for a group larger than 3 people. We want to make sure that we have plenty of food for everyone...happy eating! Also, please remember to pay for your lunches at the front desk.

Please remember to contact the office at 586-3284 with changes in address or phone numbers. We will need current physical addresses for busing routes in August. Also, please let us know if your email address has changed. We frequently use email for school communication purposes.

Schoolcraft lunches are wonderful! Just a reminder that the charge is $3.35 per day for students and $3.70 for adults. Pre-payment is appreciated, but not mandatory. Feel free to pay by the week, bi-weekly, or by the month, whichever is more convenient for you. Please return the application for educational benefits to Shar as soon as possible if you feel you may qualify for free or reduced lunches. This is not a retroactive program, so if we don't receive the form, you will be responsible for the charges incurred. Thank you!

Just a reminder... school begins at 8:50am. Any arrivals after 8:50 are considered tardy, and parents must come and sign in their children. Three tardies convert into one unexcused absence, as stated in our family handbook. Please let Shar know if you need another copy of the handbook. Students should also not be dropped off before 8:30am, and should be picked up no later than 3:00pm. We do not have the supervisory staff to monitor children before and after these times. Please also note that we do need a phone call or a note to excuse an absence from school. Thank you for your cooperation.
